Hey everyone! Welcome to the Blogspot for our Online Baby Shower for Stacy & Jeff!
Let me introduce myself really quickly. My name is Jen Harriman and I am one of Stacy's oldest friends from our College Days almost 20 years ago! (That is insane!) My husband, girls and I live in Georgia and so it's really hard for me to be out in Washington right now to help and support Stacy (I have an 8 year old little girl and a 1 year old babygirl). But- I am so excited for Stacy & Jeff and their little bundle of joy, as I am sure all of you are!!
I came up with the idea of an online baby shower, because I just knew there had to be so many of their friends & family that felt the same way I did! We wished we could be with them- but because of distance it is just not possible. Well- now, with this baby shower, we can help them get ready for
baby Matthew Thomas Crockett
to arrive (due July 3rd!)!!

Once you purchase and ship a gift to them, come on the blog and let us all know what you got (the gifts should come off the registry online so no one else will get the gifts). It's so fun to see what everyone is getting the baby! So, let us know what you sent and why you chose that gift! (example, "I got baby Matthew the CUTEST bib that says "I Love Boobs!" ha!)
Once Stacy & Jeff receive the gift, they will take a picture or video for us to see!!
ALSO- They would love if you would send them a postcard from the state you live in, with a little note to Matthew. You can mail the postcards to:

ReplyDeleteaw, yay! Congratulations!!! I bought the Aden and Anais swaddle blankets. We used these for Emmeline and loved them!!! Really great for summer time too!

DeleteSome advice from his aunt: two nookies (pacifiers) are always better than one! You may never know when you need the spare! I am getting Matty started off on a good foot and sending him the elephant and giraffe wubbanubs!

DeleteWe got them today and they are soooo cute! Jeff says that he hopes that baby Matty doesn't drop his nooks in the toilet :))

DeleteIf they do, just sterilize in boiling water for 5 min! lol.
DeleteThat was super fun! I got Baby M the sleep sack, because my daughter LOVES them for her baby. Much safer than blankets. I also got the Carter 3-piece outfit because it was cute and the Anti Monkey Butt powder because that made me laugh. I've never seen that up here in Canada!

DeleteTom and I are so excited to be welcoming our 1st grandchild into the world. We selected 3 items. The Aveeno Daily Care Set because it included lotions for mom as well as baby; the newborn gowns because they are the easiest thing for changing babies, no snaps, pants to pull up, nothing; and the set of teething bibs because if Matty drools as much as his father did he'll need a lot of them!
ReplyDeleteJeff pouted a little bit that the Aveeno set was only for Mommy and Baby but I promised to share the moisturizer with him haha. The bibs were so cute, they made me all teary eye'd. We can't wait to see you in less than 2 months now!

DeleteI had to get the "My Brest Friend" pillow and some of the safari decals to help decorate little Matthew's nursery. I also got a cute little pajama thingy :) So happy for you and Jeff and so sad that we live across the country :( December will be here soon enough! Love you Stacy!

ReplyDeleteTom and I are very happy for you and Jeff. We know your new son will have an impact on your lifestyle but the rewards are so worth it. That first smile will melt your heart. I am hoping the reach-in crib arrived in good condition. send a picture when you place Matthew in it. Enjoy this time they grow up so fast.

We are so excited about the mini co-sleeper, it's a perfect size for our small bedroom and I look forward to being able to check on him right next to the bed!
